Commissioned by Heavyweight Digital Type Foundry, this campaign documents the making of «Animo Tracks», the printed specimen of their latest typeface release ‘Animo’. Shot entirely on 35mm film, the series captures the texture and rhythm of risograph printing inside Oscar García’s workshop, where the fanzine is produced entirely by hand from start to finish.

Oscar is a quiet perfectionist and a craftsman with a deep love for risography. One ink at a time, he manually feeds each sheet into his vintage Japanese ‘RP3700’ printer. With four colours per side — aqua, yellow, fluor pink, and black — and eight passes per sheet, every layer is aligned by hand with near-mechanical precision. It’s slow. It’s deliberate. The process requires focus and patience, but the results are vivid, full of character, and often unpredictable.
